| The cold glint of steel flashed in the darkness of midnight. Someone was on the prowl, and being very sneaky about it. As Archbishop Kinsley sat down to enjoy his dinner of bread and wine, a loud crash came from outside. He cautiously opened up his roughly hewn window shutters and looked outside. A tan cat, the color of leather, darted past him in a state of panic. Scoffing at the irresponsibility of the peasants and their animals, he turned his back to the now open window as he returned to his meal. A throwing knife came out of nowhere and embedded itself in the oak table. The Archbishop did not need to turn around to find out what the figure from the shadows wanted. "Who sent you?" He asked in his regal tone. "I sent myself. I am from the Order of the Goldeens, and we have decided to end your corrupt reign." The Archbishop sighed, and before his could recover from his fright, he was still. The shadow assassin turned on her heel, and dashed off before anyone could notice. Stopping off at the hollow of a oak tree, she deposited a message in the rotting wood, written with the Archbishop's royal blue ink, with the words, "Archbishop Kinsley has fallen, our plans are go. Love, Natalya Anechka Sokolova."
